a&D resources was founded in 2002 by Joan Jakobsen and Flemming Honoré in order to provide services in the area of assessment and development of managers and organizations, using the latest and most advanced methods. a&D resources holds the rights to distribute the American personality test system, Hogan Assessment Systems, in Denmark, and the use of this assessment system is an integral part of the company’s services.
The services are based on extensive practical experience in assessment, leadership and team development, manager recruitment, individual coaching, management and board work. Major tasks in Denmark and internationally are carried out in cooperation with a number of Danish and international partners, including Hogan Assessment Systems’ international distribution network.
Our company uses tests and assessment tools for the recruitment and development of employees, managers and teams. This requires that we constantly professionalize our assessment methods, and it is therefore quite natural for us to contribute to increased professionalism in the use of the personality assessment tools, partly to raise ethical standards and partly to create some relevant guidelines. We are therefore a member of the Center for Knowledge of Professional Assessment VPP, whose mission is to set the standard for ethical and professional personality assessment in a business context.
In 2010, Joan Jakobsen and Flemming Honoré founded the company a&D development with their partner, Esben Thorup, and on 1 January 2012, a&D resources merged with a&D development and Thorup Erhvervspsykologi. Now the 3 companies are all operating under a&D resources.
